What is Haunted Mod?

Haunted is the successor to my first mod idea known as Ethereal. Haunted focuses on adding some more spooky/dark aspects into the game of Minecraft.

Soul Table, The Soul Table is the main block for crafting items.

Statue, The statue is a statue of a lost soul. They can be found in dungeon chests and can be renamed in an anvil to change the skin of the statue to that of a player with the same name. They are not craftible but can be found in normal dungeon chests. When powered with redstone they will break and spawn a lost soul.

Enchantments

Soul Steal- This enchantment can be applied to swords. This enchantment makes a mob have a chance to drop its soul when killed. (If its soul is supported)

Candy, There are several types of candy that are occasionally dropped by their respective mobs. When consumed candy will give a short speed boost. Candy includes “Gummy Skull, Enderpop, Chocolate Spider Eyes, Batty Bars, Bubblegum Witches”

Soul Jar, This item is used to capture souls without the enchantment.

Souls, Souls are dropped or taken from mobs under the right circumstances. Souls are used in various crafting recipes.

Death Gem, The death gem is used to summon the reaper boss.

Death Scythe, This scythe is an item dropped by the reaper boss. It comes with the Soul Steal enchantment. It is as strong as an Iron Sword.

Mobs

Lost Soul, Lost souls spawn throughout the world at night. When the player dies a lost soul will be spawned that will be wearing the players skin! Lost souls can also be given skins by using the name tag or spawning them from a renamed spawnegg or statue.

Zombie Pig, Zombie pigs can spawn randomly in the world and act just like zombies. They will be used in the planned necromancy system.

Zombie Spider, These spiders spawn and act just like normal zombies. Just like the pig they are planned to be used in the necromancy system.

Reaper Boss, The reaper boss is the first boss in the mod. It can be spawned by using the death gem. When killed it will drop an enchanted scythe.

How to install:

• Download and install Minecraft Forge.


• Download the mod.


• Go to %appdata%.


• Go to .minecraft/mods folder.


• Drag and drop the downloaded jar (zip) file into it.


• If one does not exist you can create one.


• Enjoy the mod.
