These mod has all the Blocks to lets your Construction looks a lot different.
There are now 601 new unique Textures:
- 436 Stone & Floor Textures
- 128 Plank Textures
- 37 Glass Textures
All these 601 Blocks are in 4 versions: normal, normal+light, Explosion resistant, Explosion resistant+ light
Now you have 2404 new Blocks
- + 2404 Stairs
- + 2404 Slabs
- Make together 7212 Blocks
- And i use only 27 Block ID´s
- And the best you don´t need to learn new Crafting Recipes.
- Now with easy way to add new Blocks or delete Blocks!
The new Blocks don´t have anymore Crafting Recipes, this make it easy to add new Blocks! The only Blocks that use Crafting Recipes are the Stairs, Slabs, but they are the same like orig. Minecraft only with the Coreblocks and 3 little Blocks more
How to make the Bricks, Planks & Glass?
Added a few bigger constructions to the mod, they are the Machines you need to make the Blocks! All the Machines use a 3D layout!

The Obsidian Generator!

You need 1. the Obsidian Base Block:
Furnace in the middle, 3 Cobblestone down & 5 Obsidian around
you need to build this Structure:
20 Obsidian Blocks
15 NetherBricks
14 Glass
1 Lava
1 Obsidian Base Block
the base of the construction is a square of 3×4 Obsidian

3. put the lava in the top middle of the obsidian!
4. now place 2 chest left & right
When you make all correct, there will be spawn a Sign left over the Chest,
like on this Picture:
The Obsidian Generator, don´t have a GUI, just put Stone in the left chest and wait, when the Obsidian is ready will be in the right Chest, don´t forget Stone not cobblestone.
When the Generator is Active you see it in the Sign!
How to use the Brick Machine, Sawmill
1. The Brick Machine is like a Big Furnace so it´s alltime need Coal or Charcoal!
2. The Sawmill is like Crafting and only need the Material what you can see in the GUI
3. When you look to the Machine from this Side where is the Base Block, the Input Chest is Left and the output Chest is right.
4 The GUI:
Both GUI´s are near the same, the only different is that in the Sawmill you don´t have the Button to select Stone or Glass,because it´s alltime Wood logs.
The Buttons Normal & Resistant let you choose the output Block Typ.
The < > let you select the next Block.
The << >> let you make steps + or – of 10 Blocks
The needed input show you what Blocks, Material needed in the input Chest, don´t forget the Brick machine need also Coal or Charcoal!
How to add or remove Blocks:

in the minecraft folder you will found a folder with the name BetterWorld, inside of this folder is a configfile.
Name of the file: BWCB_BlockList.cfg, you can open it with a editor like Notepad++.
Note: When you make something wrong and your Minecraft crash, just delete the file and start MC new, then will MC generate a new configfile.
OK, the structure of this File is easy
stone:name:textureName:false:0wood:name:textureName:true:15
All parts are seperated by:
- 1. is the Material, there are 3 Options stone, wood, glass
- this Material make the seperation in the Deco Part, like Fence or Wall, too
- 2. name is the Name that you get displayed ingame.
- 3. texturename, is the Name of your Texture File example. you when you write brick100, then the name of the file must be brick100_128.png, the _128 is for usage of different textures the number you can change in the normal config file under the point texturesRes.
- 4. can be true or false, false is a normal Block and true is a Explosion resistant Block
- 5. possible numbers are 0 to 15, this is the light Value of the Block 0 is no light and 15 is the highest Value, every number higher then 0 you will need glowstone Dust to craft the Block
Important:
- 6. only use editor, that no add special Characters to the lines.
- 7 no free line at the end of the file
- 8. no spaces in the linesor between the lines, one line is one Block.
To delete a Block is enought to remove the line in the file.
When you want to add more Blocks you need to add the texture in the zipfile, just open the zip and copy your textures in the folder mods/betterworld/CB/textures/blocks/
Installation:
- Install Minecraft Forge.
- Download Core Blocks Mod zip file from the link at the bottom of this post
- Put Core Blocks Mod zip file into your /.minecraft/mods folder. Do not unzip it.
- Done.
